Locals attribute their health and longevity to the tea gardens of Kakegawa in the hills of Shizuoka. Yamamotoyama blends award-winning leaves from Higashiyama into this fukamushi deep-steamed tea, known for its beautiful green color and rich flavor.

Green Tea
3.5 oz/ 100g
1. Bring 1 1/2 cup (360 ml) of water to a boil.
2. Place 1 Tbsp of tea leaves into the teapot.
3. Add hot water and steep for 1-3 minutes at 158-176 degrees Fahrenheit.
4. Pour tea into the cup(s) with a gentle rocking motion to allow the water to massage the leaves, slowly extracting the flavor.
