Due to Covid-19 Pandemic, we're experiencing some shipping delays.


While we are not experiencing significant delays within our fulfillment center, and are able to get orders out within 2 business days, we are unable to guarantee a delivery time frame for orders at this time.

All postal services are experiencing a significant increase in demand for their services, and a decrease in staff that is able to work. As a result, we are seeing minor to significant delays in the arrivals of orders, especially those that are being shipped outside of the U.S., at this time.

We encourage you to reach out to the postal service with your tracking information for any questions, concerns, or alternate plans regarding your order's delivery.

At Yamamotoyama, our goal is to deliver your purchase in the quickest and most economical way possible. Standard delivery is shipped via UPS or the U.S. Postal service. Because the post office now delivers seven days a week we will use Priority mail whenever possible. Those packages will be delivered in 1-3 days to addresses across the United States. Larger packages will be shipped using UPS and can take between 3-8 days for delivery. Rush delivery orders ship via UPS or Priority mail. For more specific information on your individual package, please check your shipping confirmation email.

U.S. Standard Shipping

Orders usually ship in 1-2 business days.

*Orders of $35 or more qualify for free shipping after all promotions have been applied. Shipping and handling, taxes, and discounts do not count towards the minimum purchase threshold. Free shipping applies only to standard shipping in the U.S.

U.S. Expedited Shipping

Orders usually ship in 1-2 business days.

The Ground Shipment map provided above is a general representation of estimated transit times once a package leaves the Yamamotoyama warehouse in Pomona, California. Orders usually ship in 2-3 business days. Yamamotoyama is not responsible for unexpected delays caused by inclement weather or delivery carrier service interruptions. For all orders to Canada, please refer to the shipping chart below. We do not offer expedited shipping. Any item shipped into Canada is subject to duty and/or taxes.

Orders Outside the U.S. and Canada

At this time, we do not offer shipping outside the US and Canada through yamamotoyama.com. Our international team is here to help you find your favorite tea! Please email your request to info@yamamotoyama.com and we will do our best to accommodate you.

Returns & Exchanges

To us, tea is an opportunity. To excite the senses. To surprise your tastebuds. For us, tea shouldn’t be “proper” or fancy. It just has to taste good. Damn good.

We understand that each situation is unique and our goal is your complete satisfaction. If within 60 days you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, please contact us here. Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable. Please note, you will be required to pay return shipping charges if you want an exchange or refund that was not the error of Yamamotoyama.
